Our Commitment to Sustainable Packaging by 2027

Today we are announcing a formal commitment: by the end of 2027, every product we ship will use 100% plastic-free, fully recyclable packaging. This is not an aspiration — it is a commitment backed by a concrete roadmap and measurable milestones.

As of today, 34% of our packaging by weight is plastic. The remaining 66% is already paper-based and recyclable. Our goal is to eliminate that plastic entirely within three years.

The challenge is not the paper and cardboard — those transitions are well understood and underway. The challenge is the small plastic elements: the cable ties, the foam inserts, the poly bags that protect sensitive components during shipping. These require custom engineering solutions, and we have been working with materials scientists and packaging designers for the past year to develop alternatives.

In Q3 this year, we will begin transitioning our accessories packaging to mushroom-based foam inserts, which are fully compostable. In 2026, we will extend this to our headphones and earbuds. By 2027, our monitor and smart home product lines — which use the most packaging by volume — will complete the transition.

We will publish quarterly progress updates on our sustainability page. We are holding ourselves accountable, and we invite you to hold us accountable too.
